PHILOSOPHY/TEACHING STYLE

I believe that it is important to build a love for learning and keep learning fun.  I want my students to LOVE TO LEARN so that they will become LIFE-LONG LEARNERS!  I believe in building a strong sense of community and security.  Students learn best when they feel safe, accepted, and loved.

"Children may forget what you said and what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel!  ALL children deserve to feel worthy, valuable, and capable!  ALL children deserve to be cherished just the way they are."

Dr. Jean Feldman

I have a daughter, Janette, who is recently received her doctorate degree in medicine and now doing her residency in anesthesiology at the University of Missouri.  She is married to Brian McVey from Butler and he works for Mid-America Isotopes in Ashland, Mo.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION HAS BEEN A BIG PART OF MY LIFE.  IT IS WHAT I FEEL I DO BEST!
